Re: British Championship eligibility

Hi Pete There are two Clubmans rounds before the first British, so two meetings to show that the required standard is met. Basically ride well, score some points, dont be a mobile chicane or roadblock and you should be OK. Register if you want to, Sonia @ the ACU will be in touch with the SMCA for o...

Re: IMBA

It's just so easy, why didn't anyone think of that!
Because clubs obviously run on dates that we specify don't they?

Re: Desertmartin Entries

You only mention drivers that have stopped. What about the drivers that have started? It evens itself out. Like every form of sport, ever. And you were obviously in a different room when we discussed Championships? Maxxis 6 rounds, Clubmans 6 rounds, AMCA 6 rounds. That is 18 non clashing dates, did...

Re: Tide Turning at GPs....

All the Huskys in GP's are heavily reworked 450 motors, not the 701 (KTM 690 ) motor. Mr P is on the same motor as last year, but a different chassis.

Re: a third way forwards

Sharing with the quads seems to work well for the club at Binsted. I know these things aren't simple, but is there any way of linking the clubmans championship with the quads championship? The sidecars seem to be getting healthy entries, it's such a shame to be losing events. Yeah, that worked a tr...

Re: Round 2 of Clubmans cancelled

Upavon was the best AMCA meeting I have been to.
Championship sidecars on first, zipped through the program even with a couple of stoppages.
Not the best track in the world but was fine to ride except the stones.
Made a change from the jump, corner, jump , corner stuff.

Re: National points Title

The SMCA series was for this reason. It ended up diluting numbers at British and Clubman meetings. More than two meetings a month is to much expense for a lot of crews. The AMCA have been great the last couple of years avoiding date clashes where at all possible, and altering the cost of "ACU&q...
