What frame is this?
What frame is this?
Hi!
We found one old sidecar and as it is our first one we decided to buy it for small amount of money. Sure that this is more than oldschool but still for the first year to try out it will be interesting. Engine is CZ500 fully rebuilt and shocks are so so but still we will make this baby shine and sing!
Anyone knows what frame is this? I think that it is EML frame but maybe i am wrong?

Re: What frame is this?
Hi There,
I am no expert on these things, but to me it looks like an early VMC. I am basing this on the general look of the frame and the fact the diagonal bar that runs across the sidecar from the bike side (the one used by the passenger to hook his leg behind when hanging out) runs all the way to behind the "D". On an EML of similar age I seem to recall they curved down earlier and then back up to join the tube which held the sidecar mudguard.
(Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, as said, I am no expert).
Cheers
Dave
