Sidecar frame geometry?
Recently acquired a KTM 525 SX RFS engine and wanted to build a sidecar frame for it. I live in norther California and have not seen a real sidecarcross bike as I think there are some racing in the southern part of the state. Just from looking at pictures of sidecar rigs it seem like it has a longer wheel base than regular MX bike and looks like lower/shorter travel. Now these are only observation from my novice eye on photos of sidecarcross rigs. Also wondering the head angles being used on current bikes. Understand that the leading link forks is used to have less or no trail on the front wheel to have lighter steering. Any info on the geometry numbers will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sidecar frame geometry?
Hi There,
There are a few people on the forum who have built their own bikes over the years, John Wolverson being one who is pretty active on here, it may be worth having a chat with him.
Kind Regards
Dave
