Re: How's Rien doing ?
Some update:
today 08 june, i was in the hospital again for a consult with my orthopedic surgeon and internist.
1st the orthopedic surgeon told me that i need surgery on my back.
What exactly is hard to translate for me into English, but something like that can be found here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laminectomy
2nd appointment was at the internist and there i was told that a new examination of my stomach and intestines was required
This will be done AFTER the surgery on my back, somewhere half August
3th... Tomorrow i will be again in the hospital for some test and examination on my hand and wrist ( which has already surgery 3 times in the past year)
Most-likely new surgery is required for this problem to...
Worst case scenario is that i can visit Rudersberg GP this year, but with some luck i can view some races more.. (only as spectator)
Now i have some mixed feelings;
the good news is that there is a problem that they will try to fix with surgery, but on the other hand i first need to see (feel) that it's really fixed after the painful last 3 years.
So far.....
Greetings, Rien

Re: How's Rien doing ?
On Wednesday 14 July i will have my surgery on the back.
This means that i will be in the hospital for some days.
When everything goes well and as scheduled, then i can go home after some days. Most likely this will be after the weekend.
More "news" later.....

Re: How's Rien doing ?
Earlier then expected i am already back home.
Surgery was successful and the first results are real hopeful.
The pain in my left legs is already partly gone and in a few weeks all should feel better.
Now my back is real painful (from the surgery), its hard to sit, walk or even lay down.... but in a week it will be much better (i hope)....
