God speed, and please return safe!

Post by John Wolverson »

Hello Scott, What date will you be departing from California to Lisbon? How much time have you allowed Duane and yourself in Lisbon before the start?
Like everyone I do so hope that you both succeed, and reach the finish, you both deserve this after all of the effort and money that you and all of your team have put into this great project. I would like to wish the other two sidecar crews and their teams in the rally every success, and I wish for all your safe return after the event.

Again, all the best, and God speed.........Johnny Wolverson

Thanks John for your encouragement. We arrive in Lisbon 22 December.

Is there anyone in Europe/UK who can record the TV coverage onto DVD? The coverage over here is usually not very good, so I would like to see the good stuff from Europe after the race. Any language is ok. Who has a DVD recorder?

DVD

Post by Pascal »

It seems there'll be a DVD-Recorder for my girlfriendunder the X-mas tree .

I'm sure, she will allow me to use it first :-D

But it won't be wrong, if other users will record the TV coverage too!

Hi Scott,
this week i'm going to buy a new DVD recorder. After some try-outs it must be possible to record the TV coverage from Le Dakar.

regards,
Paul

:-D :-D I would like to wish the best of luck to Team Hogwild Racing. I hope Scott and Dwayne have a SAFE and rewarding journey to DAKAR. All your hard work and preparations will bring you the experience of a life time. I look forward to seeing video and hearing the stories that will follow. I am bummed that my satelite has dropped OLN channel.

Good Luck

Best wishes for success Scott and team. I discovered your site over at a Motocross message board of all places. We used to race sidecars on the ice here in Michigan back in the day (60's & 70's) and it was a blast. Good Luck & come home safe. BTW do you guys have a helmet sponsor? I didn't see one listed.

Cheers,

Al
