Anyone remember the racers of the 1960s, people like Westwood,Sadler,Wingfield,Crane,Hartshorn etc,
just been looking through thejohndaveypages, 2 or 3 meetings every weekend all over the country,

Eddie is still truck driving atm and Ian is working for persy Henry working with Ghandi-capped children

I remember riding dowm to the start line on Dennis Wingfield's front mudguard..and back to the van on Wacka' Westwoods chair.( I was bout 6 at the time)! My dad was Frank Davis of the Mansfield Maun Mcc..mum Betty was secretatry...also Bill Bailey and the' travelling circus' from Wolverhampton..happy days :thumb:
