PRESS RELEASE - GB IMBA NEWS

The British IMBA to be held on August 10th has been moved from Cwmwythig Hill to The Neuadd, Penybont.

The revamped spectacular Neuadd track became available for use recently and after some difficulties in negotiating necessary track changes at Cwmwythig to accomodate sidecars (Rhayader DMCC are hosting a round of the British Enduro Championship on 24 August and were resisting any changes to the track) it was decided by SMX Wales to move the event 8 miles down the road to the 'pick' of Welsh MX tracks - the Neuadd, Penybont.

While the facilities at Cwmwythig - hard standing and permanent toilets - are first class, the track at Neuadd is by far the superior of the two for sidecarcross, is wide and flowing with natural jumps and is regarded by most as the top mx track in Wales!!!

The venue has ample parking space with a nice flat paddock for teams, trade stands, marquee, bar and food vans, quad rides for the kids and a Bouncy Castle.

Ray Collard will ensure that the hillside track will be in pristine condition for racing and the natural gallery above the track will provide spectators with fantastic viewing.

The event is also hosting a Round of the British 2 stroke Championship, British Vets Championship, SMCA British Sidecar Championship and Twinshock Sidecars.

Cost of entry for adults is £5 while kids go free - excellent value!!!

Postcode for the Neuadd track is: LD1 5SW
