IMBA RESULTS

Post by graham »

I have just been studying the IMBA results from round 1 in Switzerland. I see that number 44 Kevin Battaglia and Philipp Furrer were disqualified from all 3 races. I presume this was because they are competing in the FIM series. Kevin Battaglia finished third, second and third in the three races. To my mind, all crews who finished behind Battaglia should move up one place in all 3 races. This is normal practice in most sport. According to the IMBA web-site this has not happened. Has anyone else got an opinion on this situation ?? The British IMBA round takes place on July 26 at Lower drayton farm at Penkridge, Staffordshire ST19 5RE.

Sidecar crew number 47 Marco Boller and Simon Walti have also now been disqualified from the first IMBA round, where they recorded two wins and a dnf. This is presumably because they competed last week in the FIM GP in Germany.
