Round 1-AMA National Sidecar MX Series-Reminder

Post by Al Wenzel »

For all the Teams and anyone else....

Round 1 of the 2007 AMA National Sidecar MX Series will be held on Sunday, April 1st at Diamond Don's Riverport MX in scenic Jefferson, TX. This event will be run in conjunction with an AHRMA Post-Vintage National MX, hosted by Don & Francene Rainey. The Rainey's hospitality is not to be missed as this event is certainly a favorite amongst the Teams.

As always, both the Heavyweight & Championship classes will be offered at the event. A current AMA membership is required for both the driver & passenger. AMA Membership ($39.00) will be available for purchase or renewal at the event. All rigs are required to pass thru a technical inspection before being allowed on the track.

All machines must have a functioning tether type ignition cut-off and a sidecar wheel cover. All machines should have three number plates, including one over the sidecar wheel. This is to aid in scoring. Machines should use Yellow backgrounds and Black numbers. If the Team has earned a National number from the 2006 season, it is requested that you use that number on your machine.

Hope to see a good showing of the Teams there.
