Round 4-AMA National Sidecar MX Series-Reminder

Post by Al Wenzel »

Round 4 of the 2007 AMA National Sidecar MX Series will be held at Sandia MX Park in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, September 15th.

This is the replacement event for the Colorado round which was rescheduled.

As always, we will be offering both the Heavyweight and Championship classes. Current AMA Membership is required for both Driver and Passenger and will be available to purchase at the event ($39.00US).

We will again be running with an AHRMA Post-Vintage National event, so we should have a suitable racetrack (or as suitable as they can make Sandia).

All machines will pass through Tech Inspection prior to being allowed on the track. A working tether-type ignition switch (Deadman) and a Sidecar wheel cover are mandatory on all Rigs for safety reasons. If you have earned a National number from the 2006 season, please use that number on your machine.

Sign-up opens at 7am on Saturday, though we may do some early sign-up on Friday evening.

For lodging information, maps and more general information regarding the event, please check out the links:

See you all there....have a safe trip.
