Re: JAWA?
The JAWA engines are used in different countries like:
France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Danmark, Latvia, Russia and of course the homeland - Czech Republic.
It is better to ask riders, who use them, than manufacturer. The result from Czech Republic show 5 jawa from 18 entries, see the pdf.
For more users see the http://www.ams-jawa.cz/en/team.aspx
Tomas Cermak is the only GP rider using fourstroke engine, which handle 3 GP in row (01.08. Kivioli, 08.08. Kegums, 15.08. Penza). Moreover he use the same engine for all training, qualification run and race.
If somebody sow some extra work around Tomas Cermak engines, it is mainly born from new engine parts testing. We strictly keep the testing routine, which assure, that only GP succesfully tested parts are available for customers. So for 2011 you will get 2010 Cermak engine specification, there are no special overbores, high compression, "sharp" camshaft or similar gimmics. We are working on this engine since 2003, first enter to races was spring 2004, from 2006 this engine has been used by Cermak brothers. Evgenyj Scherbinin a Sergej Sosnovskikh are the 2008 IMBA champions.
The engine is powerfull enough to bring Cermak to the GP podium finish, durability is there, spare parts are avilable through the season, main engine components are build to long service life etc. The engine price is half compared with tuned KTM engine, service cost during season is lower, engine is simple enough to allow make basic service at home garage, two frame manufactures has frame ready for JAWA, but some people are still in doubt.
We want to show, that our engine perform well first and building good reputation take some time. But we are here and hungry for good results. As we are taking parts in races as well, sometime the e-mail reply is not fast enough, sorry for that. Try the JAWA engine and you will get good machinery for your racing.
