Why did jarno and rick not kwalify

I dont't know if there was anything special, but I think it too easy to say say that they can eassily qualifiy.
In my opinion the competion is very hard, look at van Zanten, Kuster etc they also couldn't qualify.
Sorry for them, but maybe next time better
