Utrecht, 17 Maart 2013: Etienne nacht goed doorgekomen

(bron: Pers info Team Bax)

Update 19-Mar-2013 by Jack Bax;
Jack was at the hospital this evening, Etienne had still a little temperature (38,1)
Etienne was eating an icecream told: "it was the best icecream ever" with a big smile on his face :thumb:
And then he fell asleep... again a little step forward.

Utrecht, 17 March 2013: Etienne night well come
Today may Etienne of the IC, but must be at least 48 hours for observation even at UMC Utrecht remain.

Update: Etienne stable after surgery this afternoon!
The bleeding did not stop, why the doctors at UMC Utrecht afternoon decided to surgery. Robbie Bax (21), Bakkenist of reigning world champion Daniel Willemsen, yesterday visited his brother but listed after surgery today: "During the operation was a tear in the outer wall of the colon and in the spleen attached. That has been resolved."
Hereafter Etienne back to the IC as usual.

Team Manager Jack; "It did initially not so bad," said Jack Bax, the father of Etienne. "He was also of the IC, but this afternoon he lost a lot of blood. Doctors deemed it better when my son to operate."
Etienne (and Kaspars) today who would participate in a cross in Genk, considered as one of the favorites in the upcoming battle for the world, but the team seems to be thrown back.
"Etienne is a tough," said senior Bax. "He wants as quickly as possible to the engine. It is true that valuable time is lost in preparing for the World Cup. Etienne and Kaspars would next Tuesday go to Spain for a training camp. That is just not continue. But is much more important that restores Etienne! "(Source: Press info Team Bax)
