CHILLEN not STEWIN

Post by chris m. johnson »

Hey Stew - thanks for the invite and your right, some folks need to chill out and just race. I saw on the message board several months back in the UK how some of your counterparts handled conflicting race dates - it just too bad its not like that here in the GOOD-OL' USA.

Send the best to your team and the wife and we just might have to take you up on your offer.

The Ken Hall?

Post by Al Wenzel »

Janette,

Might I suggest the Ken Hall Scramble at Langrish? It's run on a Bank Holiday Monday and usually draws many Continental Teams and GP front runners. It's a very good event to see some great sidecar MX.

Plus, you're lucky, because you are already on the proper outfit for England.

Myself, I'm gonna need a Kack-hander....

The "Ken Hall" Scramble

Post by Al Wenzel »

Hi Janette,

Yea, sorry about not providing the date for the "Ken Hall". It's the Summer Bank Holiday, so the big name teams and local front runners race on Monday, August 28th, 2006.

I'm assuming that they will have Twin-Shock Outfits on the Sunday and possibly practice on Saturday prior, but that is based on the last time I was there, which was a few years ago. I can't imagine that it would have changed very much.

The Langrish track is a very traditional facility and provides a great venue for International Sidecar MX in the UK.

It's a great event.....and you'll get to see how the sidecar lad's operate on the other side of the pond.

You will be impressed! And England is a fabulous place to visit! Great fun....

Hi Guys

This year should be good at the Ken Hall. The Sunday is The Wulfsport World Twinshock Championship. Hopefully there will be a good turn out of both Sidecar and Solo Pre 85 and Twinshock racers. Monday will be as usual with all the top British crews and some world championship racers.
