Ruhe vor dem Sturm (calm before the storm)
The last weeks, Sandy and Ruedi did an entire service to their Dakar-sidecar. They put everything apart and checked every detail up.
As Ruedi told me, everything up to 95 percent is O.K. (Sandy and Ruedi will never be satisfied with optimising their bike).
Yesterday, they were at the meeting of the FMS (Swiss Motorcyclists Federation), where the Swiss moto-champs of this year were honoured. There, Sandy and Ruedi met most of the other swiss bikers, who will participate the Dakar 05. A big group is again from the french part of Switzerland.
At the 12.27.2004, Sandy and Ruedi will drive to Barcelona and at the 12.29.2004, they will have their checkout by the ASO.
Their (Startnummer) number is 250.
During the rally, Ruedi or Sandy will try to phone me at least every two or three days, so that I can put some informations directly into this forum; let‘s hope, it‘ll work.
