Who showed for the famed Adelanto GP ??
We didnt show because we beat up our inexpensive equipment at a forty-four (44) mile desert race (The 56 annual Checkers World Championship Hare & Hound in Lucerne Valley, CA, USA) that had some of the hardest terrain I have ever rode anything up and down, much less a sidecar. close to 60 degree up and downhills on offcambers with rocks as big as volkswagans.
Paul Stimson and I finished another desert race without a single flat, not one overheating session, and the clutch lived the entire race, got a third place to the true to life five mile bomb, ending up seventh overall against fifteen quads and first sidecar.
So how was Adelanto ????
