Sidecars race with quads
Yes, the sidecars do race with the quads, it is only at the Weston Beach race on the Saturday. The solo's race on the Sunday, just solo's, no sidecars or quads.

You see the same thing in Dakar, and at some races in the USA such as desert and GP (more like enduro) races. Sidecars are racing against sidecars, quads against quads, and they both happen to be on the track at the same time. Typically this is done to fit more classes into the limited time of one day. Two races at one time!

There are other events where Quad, sidecars & sometimes Solos all compete together. The first that come to mind are :-
Dyfi Rally in Wales, Mostly Solos with a few quads and sidecars, this event includes public roads so all enterants must be roas legal.
Chiltern Hills Enduro Club run Hare & Hounds enduros, Mostly solos, with a few quads and sidecars.
Cotswold Enduro Club have some H & H events with a Solo race in the morning and a Quad & Sidecar event in the after noon, In these sidecars are usually out numbered by about 20:1, There was one of these a couple of years age, dead engine start, three of the quad racers were in the ambulances before I had got the engine started, all within easy view of the start line.
Gravity LC hold H&H enduros specifically for quads & sidecars, usually Considerably more quads than sidecars.
